La’aretz Foundation

The La’Aretz Foundation is an Israeli-led initiative that provides urgent, dignified support to families facing crisis — offering direct grants for housing, rehabilitation, childcare, therapy, and education. With a focus on closing critical gaps that government and traditional aid often miss, La’Aretz responds swiftly to the evolving needs of wounded soldiers, displaced families, bereaved parents, and immigrant students.

  • Jewish Life

Grounded in shared responsibility and Jewish values, La’Aretz builds lasting bridges between diaspora Jewry and the people of Israel. Their mission is to turn empathy into action — helping individuals rebuild their lives while cultivating a global community committed to Israel’s strength, resilience, and future.

A couple with five young children was evacuated from their home near Israel’s northern border for over a year. During that time, their house was repeatedly damaged by blasts and left exposed to the elements. Animals entered and destroyed their furniture, beds, and kitchen appliances. While some government aid may eventually cover structural repairs, nothing was available to help them make the house livable again. In partnership with TFO, La’Aretz was able to step in with a grant that gave this family a pathway home — and restored their sense of safety, stability, and dignity.
